Adams Australia greatly values the ability of organic farmers to produce quality certified products.
If you are a certified organic producer and interested in producing oilseed crops we would like to talk to you. We contract directly with organic producers and supply the seed, organise transport and storage and offer agronomic support where needed.
Contracts
Contracts can be either hectare contracts, guaranteed minimum price contracts or firm price firm tonnage contracts.
Hectare Contracts – the farmer and Adams Australia agree on a price per tonne for the production from a set area of land. The production tonnage may be capped subject to market conditions.
Guaranteed Minimum Price (GMP) Contracts - Adams Australia commits to a Guaranteed Minimum Price for the total production from a set area of land. The farmer then locks in tonnages at a firm price when he is ready to sell through out the season. If the farmer elects not to lock in a price they will receive the market price on the day of delivery or the GMP price which ever is the highest.
Firm Tonnage Contracts – The farmer sells to Adams Australia a set tonnage at a set price.
